Outstanding Prepceptor Award
The Outstanding Preceptor Award was presented to Janet Johnson (center). Janet was nominated by Dr. Jean Ivey (right) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The award was presented by Pat Jackson Allen, president of AFPNP (left).
Additional nominees for the Outstanding Preceptor Award included: Peggy Gilberston of the University of Minnesota, Kristin McHarg of Fairfax Station, VA, and Patricia Savage of Gold Beach, OR.
Outstanding Educator Award
The Outstanding Educator Award was presented to Dr. Michelle Beauchesne (center) from Northeastern University for her leadership in both national and international nursing education. Michelle was nominated by Dr. Arlene Sperhac (right) and the award was presented by Pat Jackson Allen (left), president of AFPNP.
