FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MARCH 18, 2025
The Association of Faculty of Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (AFPNP) extends heartfelt congratulations to the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) on their 50th anniversary of excellence in supporting pediatric nursing and advancing pediatric provider certifications.
AFPNP wishes to express sincere gratitude for PNCB's outstanding commitment to elevating pediatric nursing quality over the past five decades. This milestone anniversary highlights PNCB's unwavering dedication to ensuring the highest standards of care for pediatric patients nationwide.
In a remarkable demonstration of continued support for pediatric nursing education, PNCB presented AFPNP with a generous gift of $100,000 at the NAPNAP 2025 Annual Conference in Chicago. Dr. Asma Taha and Dr. Deborah Busch received this significant contribution on behalf of AFPNP.
This generous gift will be instrumental in supporting AFPNP's ongoing work to strengthen pediatric nurse practitioner faculty across the nation, ultimately enhancing the education of future pediatric healthcare providers.
AFPNP looks forward to continuing our collaborative relationship with PNCB as we work together to advance pediatric nursing education and practice.
